16. client/server Techniques
The Solutions follows a standardized development and delivery model to ensure timely delivery of client requirements. An internally developed project management application is used to automate the work flow and monitor the progress at each stage.
On receiving the RFQ from the client, our team undertakes a thorough analysis of all requirements and deliverables. An analysis report consisting of queries and suggestions is generated and submitted for client inputs. We try follow a consultative approach at this stage and collaborate with the client to come up with the best solution instead f blindly delivering on the RFQ. After a series of interactions with the client, the final requirement report is prepared .
The development stages starts with requirement engineering which is followed by prototyping, system engineering and design, core development, testing, trial implementation, UAT support. Once the usability is accepted by our clients we deploy the system and final release is done. Client/server computing is about control. Users want control of the resources on their desktops and they want control of how they use information to do their jobs. Successful implementation of a client/server environment is not about product, it's about process. It's not "What stuff do we need to buy?" but: "What are we going to do with all the stuff that's available and how will we choose what we need?"
